Why six months.

Your contracts, policies and procedures get rebuilt in the first weeks, and your adviser spends that time learning how your business actually runs. Four weeks is long enough to download a template. Six months is long enough to change how your managers work.

Your membership runs for a fixed term of six months and then continues month to month until you cancel it. You can cancel on 30 days notice after the fixed term. The fees for the whole of the fixed term are payable and are not refundable for change of mind.

OUTSIDE THE SUBSCRIPTION

Clear scope. No surprises.

Your membership covers the day-to-day people questions of your own business. Some work sits outside it, and we will always tell you before that line is crossed.

EmployerHQ

Delivered workplace training, large restructures and workplace investigations are scoped and quoted by EmployerHQ, in writing, before work begins.

Salbridge Lawyers

Legal advice beyond the included consultation, reviewing or changing your own documents, claims, disputes and tribunal or court representation are provided by Salbridge Lawyers under their own engagement, with scope and costs agreed with you first.

BEFORE YOU JOIN

Clear scope. Straight answers.

Before you join, we confirm the fit and send you a Membership Schedule setting out exactly what your membership covers.

Who is EmployerHQ for?

Australian businesses with around 5 to 100 employees that need experienced HR support without building an in-house team. We also support operations and people leaders in larger growing businesses. Book a call and we will talk through the fit.

What is included in the membership?

A named adviser, HR and employment relations advice by email, portal, phone and Teams, 3 platform users, manager playbooks, branded contracts and policies, workforce procedures, resource search, monthly workplace law updates, invitations to member webinars and to our networking sessions, and Salbridge Legal Access, which covers up to 30 minutes with an employment lawyer on any issue your adviser refers.

Do I get access to a real lawyer?

Yes. Your membership includes Salbridge Legal Access: up to 30 minutes with an employment lawyer at Salbridge Lawyers, an employment law firm, on any issue your adviser refers. You do not have to work out whether a matter needs a lawyer, because your adviser makes that call. EmployerHQ itself provides HR and employment relations guidance and is not a law practice, so the legal advice comes from Salbridge, not from us. Where a matter needs more than the included consultation, Salbridge can act for you directly at member rates and will agree the scope and the cost with you before they start. When Salbridge advises you, you are their client for that advice. Nour Salama is the principal of Salbridge Lawyers, a co-founder and director of EmployerHQ, and has a financial interest in both.

Will I speak with real experts?

Yes. Your named adviser is an experienced HR professional who gets to know your business. The founding team brings executive, people and employment law experience, and you have Salbridge Legal Access when a matter needs a lawyer.

How do I contact my adviser?

Day-to-day questions are handled by email and the portal, with phone and Teams for complex matters. EmployerHQ is not an emergency response service.

Is there a limit on advice?

There is no volume limit on advisory support for your own business’s people matters. Salbridge Legal Access covers up to 30 minutes per issue, and beyond that Salbridge can act for you directly at member rates. Your Membership Schedule sets what your membership covers, including your number of platform users.

What sits outside the membership?

Training delivery, large restructures and workplace investigations are quoted by EmployerHQ in writing before work begins. Legal advice beyond the included consultation, changes to your own documents, claims, disputes and representation are handled by Salbridge Lawyers under their own engagement, with scope and costs agreed with you first.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes, six months. That gives your adviser time to learn your business and put the right foundations in place. The fees for the whole of the fixed term are payable and are not refundable for change of mind. Your terms and scope are set out in your Membership Schedule before you accept it.

How do I get started?

Send us an enquiry, or book a 30-minute call. We look at your business and confirm the fit, then send you a setup link with your Membership Schedule. Once you accept it and your first payment goes through, your adviser is introduced and your platform is ready.

What am I agreeing to when I join?

Your Membership Schedule and our Terms and Conditions. You see both in full before you accept anything, and we email you a copy of each as you accepted them.

Can I cancel?

Your membership runs for a fixed term of six months, then continues month to month until you cancel. After the fixed term you can cancel on 30 days notice.

How many people can use the platform?

Three as standard, and more by agreement. Your Membership Schedule sets the number for your business.
